About

This site was established to allow the Curry School and University community to collaborate and discuss activities related to establishment of the Curry Library Innovation Commons [CLIC] in the 2009 – 2010 academic year.  It employs Web 2.0 technologies that include WordPress,  an interactive discussion list, and a wiki to support these efforts.

The hallmark of Web 1.0 technologies is one-way dissemination of information. They make it easy to quickly distribute information via the web but are less suited to two-way collaboration and interactions.

Web 2.0 technologies are designed to support collaborative knowledge production. In keeping with the CLIC theme, this site uses these technologies to allow users to jointly edit documents, discuss them, and collaborate on activities related to the evolution of the Curry commons.
